Effective date: May 10,2026 App: Beyond Capable Developer: Seth Hanneken
Beyond Capable is built to respect your privacy. Everything you write — your journal entries, mood, movement, gratitude, goals, reflections, and the books you’ve read — stays on your device. None of it is sent to me, to any server, or to any third party.
There are no accounts to create. There is no login. There is no analytics SDK. There is no tracking. The app does not phone home.
If you want all your data gone, delete the app. That’s it.
The app stores the following information locally, using Apple’s SwiftData framework (the same private storage Apple uses for its own apps):
This data never leaves your iPhone. I cannot see it. Apple cannot see it. It is not backed up to anywhere I control.
If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud (an Apple feature you control), your app data is included in that backup. That backup belongs to you and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
